To assist in providing a safe and healthful work environment for all employees, customers, and visitors, Queen Bee Air Specialties has established a workplace safety program. This program is a top priority for our company.
Aviation Safety and Training:
Initial training for fire fighting pilots new to our company covers ground school and flying over a three week period, at least 25 hours of AT-802 flying time, at a cost to the company of approximately $35,000. This initial training is followed up by annual recurrency training for all our pilots.
Safety Program for our Rigby facility:
Phase II of our safety program began at our Rigby base in September of 2006. It is supported by a full time position and incorporates many facets such as:
